Whitewater rafting in Wisconsin

Kosir's Whitewater Rafting's Peshtigo River outpost is located in Silver Cliff, WI. We run the "Roaring Rapids" section of the Peshtigo River. This section is filled with seven major class 3 rapids with smaller class 1-2 rapids in between. We run the Peshtigo River starting in April when the snow melts. This usually brings us high water so we can run the river in larger rafts with a guide in the back. 

*The Peshtigo River is rain fed, so boat types depend on how much rain we get before you plan on coming. We could be in anything from a single person funyak (like an inflatable kayak), a 2-3 person raft, or maybe even a larger 4-8 person raft! Don't worry though - we take beginners all the time, and every raft trip is guided with the most experienced guides! The guides are usually in their own funyaks helping the trip down the river. 

We determine which rafts we will use based on a bridge scale. Our bridge scale is measured in inches. If you're ever curious what the water levels are just give us a call! We also post high water alerts on our Facebook page!

Children must be at least 10 years old to raft the Peshtigo River. If slightly younger, please give us a call before reserving.

We run the Peshtigo River in April at 10:00am and 1:00pm. From May - November we run rafting trips at 10:00am and 1:00pm Sunday - Friday, and at 9:00am, 12:00pm, and 3:00pm on Saturdays.

What to bring: You will need a pair of closed toe shoes for rafting (we suggest old tennis shoes or water shoes). NO bare feet or flip flops! We suggest bringing any type of clothes, or swim wear, you want to get wet in. In colder months, we recommend bringing neoprene or wool clothing. Don't forget sunscreen, a towel, and clothes to wear after your trip!

Pricing:

Spring Peshtigo River Rafting (April - May 19th) - $50.00 per person *Includes wetsuit and bootie rental*

Summer Peshtigo River Rafting (May 19th - November) - $40 per person plus tax

*If water is high in Summer, and a guide is needed in the back of the raft and/or more guides on the river price will be $50 per person + tax*

Wetsuits are always available to rent at our Peshtigo River Location for $7.00. Sprays Jackets and Bootie Rental also available for $5.00.
